Welcome to Courtyard Villa Assisted Living

 In keeping with the Hand County Memorial Hospital values of justice, hospitality, respect and compassion, the Hand County Memorial Hospital, Inc has been established to provide a housing alternative for the elderly population of Hand County and the surrounding area. The Assisted Living Center (Courtyard Villa) allows the resident to maintain his/her privacy and independence while providing him/her with meals, laundry and housekeeping services.

The staff at the Hand County Memorial Hospital, Inc., encourages residents to remain active and independent in order to maintain the quality of life. To this end, activities are scheduled daily and residents are encouraged to participate in activities outside the center with family, friends and others.

The Hand County Memorial Hospital, Inc. is located adjacent to the Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital and Clinic; this provides easy access to health care services. Additionally, each resident will have the benefit of a visit with his/her own primary nurse during which he/she can voice any health concerns. Because they are a Medicare certified center, they will be able to offer these services to those who otherwise might not be able to afford them.

It is our goal to provide a home-like environment in which our residents will continue to thrive and live productive lives.
